Geothermal Energy: Our new worldwide power source?

Geothermal energy, one of the energies used other than fossil fuels, is an energy that doesn’t cause pollution and is renewable.
It is made when water goes down till it meets the core, heats up extremely, and comes back up in steam, which is used as energy. Geothermal energy is used all over the world, but is hard to make in countries with more poverty; since geothermal power plants need space and cost lot’s of money.
This energy is significantly better than fossil fuels, as there is an infinity supply of it, since it’s merely made of water, then turned into steam. Geothermal energy’s a substitute for fossil fuels, which there is a limited amount of on this planet. Soon enough, we will have no choice but to use other alternative sources of energy, such as hydroelectric or geothermal energy.
This source of energy can be found in parts of Asia, North and South America, and the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean. Though the water is primarily heated in the core, where temperatures range from four thousand degrees to seven thousand degrees Celsius (seven thousand two hundred degrees to twelve thousand six hundred degrees Fahrenheit), it’s sometimes heated near the crust, which is about five to seventy five kilometers (about three to forty seven miles) thick, while the distance from Earth down to it’s center is about six thousand five hundred kilometers (about four thousand miles) thick.
Personally, I think geothermal energy is extremely important, as it’s a much better source of energy than fossil fuels environmentally, since it does not cause pollution and is renewable, as I have stated in the beginning of this article. Though remember this: Eventually, Earth will run out of fossil fuels, so it’s a good idea to start using alternative energy sources now.

I liked how you put a lot of emphasis on the point that fossil fuels will someday run out. You seemed to know alot about the topic but you didn't state your question and dragged through things instead of just informing us of the facts. Even so I think you did a great job and gave everybody a great understanding of Geothermal energy.

Wow so geothermal energy is totally enviroment friendly? But how do the people dig deep down very deep and the people on the earth can only dig to a certain level not so deep as a matter of fact.

I disagree because geothermal energy should be used more where the crust is thin then where it is thick.
